 As stated earlier we believe development is the result of reconciliation.
It is the possibilities that are created when people who were
estranged find a way
to set aside their differences, find common ground, and establish a platform
for the future. The development possibilities resulting from each individual
context are unique and may not be obvious. The backdrop against which the new
working relationship is formed and common vision is drafted is tenuous at best.
Each side would have developed its own culture and
values in the absence of each other. These cultures and values
lead to preferences that
disguise themselves
as truth or fact. The result is an irrational loyalty to preferences and symbolism
that make forging ahead difficult.
Often there are issues which involved real
substance and concerns to one side or the other and in rare cases both. These
realities require creative and innovative ideas, plans and concepts if the
process is to go forward.

the simplest consensus
