The God Kind of Faith
I really would like you to take a look at this passage:
Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering said unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says.
Mar 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, Whatever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Mar 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have issues against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Mar 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
We have been taught to pray and wait on God until we see our change come. In this passage Jesus teaches us to be more forceful and have the God kind of faith. According to Jesus this kind of faith does not doubt or allow fear to creep in and find resident in the heart. This kind of faith has so much confidence in God it speaks out loud to impossible situations and believe change can come from prayer and confession. The God kind of faith believes it receives the desires of our heart when we pray.
The God kind of faith requires us to forgive and release the things we are holding on to with the expectation of God’s forgiveness. Most of all the God kind of faith identifies as part of the Father’s family. It identifies us with the Kingdom of God and the manner in which he operates in the earth. I am sure it is not as easy as I am making it sound right now, but I am making it my prayer this year. So when you run into me, if I seem a little more confident in my stride, know it is because I am praying for, and learning to walk in the “God kind of Faith.
